Candle in My Pocket

Candle in My Pocket is an ongoing project founded by photographer Jiesi.

Rooted in personal practice, it explores everyday life, culture, and the ways we connect with the world around us.

Moving between photography, publishing, objects, gatherings, curation, and creative collaborations, the project takes inspiration from different places, cultures, and daily rituals, translating them into forms that can exist within everyday life.

We believe that meaningful connection begins with paying attention.

A photograph, an object, a shared meal, or a publication can become an invitation to slow down, notice, and reconnect—with ourselves, with others, and with the lives we live.

Each limited-edition piece is more than an object; it carries an idea, a perspective, and a way of seeing the world.

Candle in My Pocket is an ongoing exploration of how we can rediscover our relationship with everyday life in an increasingly fast-moving world.

Ultimately, we hope each project becomes a small reminder to collect the moments that quietly light us from within—and keep them close, in our pockets.
